General rules and details of the Competition:

  1. The competition is a Prize Draw. It will be open for entries on Nov 16th 2016 and close Dec 16th The Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 18 and over.
  2. Employees of minicabit ltd and its group companies or their family members, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw may not enter the Prize Draw.
  3. Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
  4. To enter the competition an Entrant must answer the multiple choice question found at minicabit.com/ghostbusters, submit their basic personal information and agree to these Terms and Conditions. A correct answer will give the entrant one entry into the prize draw. Once the entrant has submitted their information they will unlock ways to gain extra entries. Instructions on how to gain extra entries will be clearly shown on the gleam competition widget after the initial entry has been made.
  5. By submitting your personal information you agree to receive emails from minicabit containing offers and developments that we think may interest you. You will also be agreeing to subscribe to receive exclusive holiday offers from icelolly.com. You will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe on every email you receive.
  6. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
  7. After the competition closes on Friday 16th December at 2pm, a random draw will take place of all eligible entries received between the Opening Time and the Closing Time to determine the winners.
  8. A total of 23 winners will be selected. 1 x First Prize, 2 x Second Prizes, 20 x Runner-up prizes. The prize breakdown is as follows:

First Prize: A trip for two to New York (Including Flights and Hotel provided by Icelolly.com and UK Airport Transfers provided by minicabit)

Second Prize: 32” Sony Television (Model: KDL32RD433BU) + Ghostbusters (2016) DVD

The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

  1. The winner may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the Prize Draw and the winner shall participate in such activity on miniciabit’s reasonable request. The winners consents to the use by minicabit and its related companies, both before and after the closing date of the Prize Draw for an unlimited time, of the winner’s voice, image, photograph and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by mincabit and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Prize Draw, all entrants consent to the same.
  2. minicabit accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize. minicabit further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of minicabit for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
  3. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Icelolly.com – New York Holiday Terms & Conditions

The prize for the winner consists of the following; return economy flights from a UK airport to New York, 4 nights room only accommodation in a 4 star rating hotel and return overseas transfers for two people. Accommodation is based on two adults sharing a twin or double room. Subject to availability, the winner will be able to select their departure airport from the following; London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London City, Birmingham, Glasgow or Manchester.

The holiday prize excludes:

  • Any departure and/or arrival taxes.
  • Local taxes.
  • Excursions, attractions, treatments and car hire.
  • Travel insurance, spending money and any other personal expenses.
  • Visas and vaccinations.

Other Terms and Conditions;

From the date of being awarded the holiday giveaway, the chosen holiday must be booked within three months and travel must be within a twelve month period or the prize will be withdrawn. Icelolly.com reserves the right to specify the exact departure airport and hotel. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they have a valid passport, travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visa for their trip.

The prize excludes departures from the 7th April 2017 to the 28th April 2017, 20th May to the 28th May 2017 and the 16th December 2017 to the 2nd January 2018.

The prize-winner must be a UK resident, aged 18 years or over at the time of entry and is responsible for their ESTA visas which includes the cost. The legal age for drinking alcohol and gambling in the US is 21.

Once the booking has been confirmed, any alteration to the booking will incur administrative charges, payable by the holiday prize winner.

All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

The winner and their guest may be required to participate in publicity including being featured in icelolly.com social media.

UK Airport Transfers Terms & Conditions

UK Airport Transfers are provided by minicabit up to the value of £200 total. The total value can be used on one single or return trip and must be taken on the same dates as the New York Holiday.

Transfers must be taken within the UK where minicabit has coverage and must be booked with minicabit with at least 24 hours’ notice.
